Description

Tahoe 8332 is a serial port server with 32 RS-232 connectors and a shared Ethernet port. A larger version of the Tahoe 8316 model.

The user connects to the server via telnet or SSH, selects a port and gains access to the console of the connected device: a switch, router, server or controller.

Users

Each port can be assigned to a separate user. This is useful when the equipment in one rack belongs to different departments or customers.

Several hardware and software watchdogs monitor the device, from basic processor functions to network communication. The metal enclosure is designed for years of continuous operation.
