Description

Tahoe 284 connects two LANs over an E1 link, also when only some of the timeslots are available.

It works as a transparent bridge and is a cheaper alternative to a router where management over a TCP/IP network and traffic filtering are not needed. It is configured via the serial console or from the LCD display and keypad.

Timeslots

The G.703 link works in framed or unframed mode. In framed mode any combination of timeslots can be selected, and the data rate ranges from 64 to 1984 kbps depending on their number. In unframed mode the full 2048 kbps is available.
