Data over copper. Still in production.

G.shdsl+ modems, routers and converters for leased lines. Niche equipment, built to order for places where a copper pair is all there is.

Niche equipment, by design

We know that leased line modems are a niche technology today. We keep making them on purpose. Our customers own copper cables that still work and networks built on Tahoe equipment that must keep running. We give them continuity: the same devices, the same TahoeOS, spare parts and support.

There are also places where copper cannot be replaced by fibre or radio: restricted sites, ground where nothing new can be laid, routes where the cable is already there and a new investment makes no sense. A symmetric link over one or a few pairs is still the simplest answer.

Today most of our equipment goes to the defence sector. Earlier users included mining and railways, industries with extensive cable infrastructure of their own.
