Tahoe 681 modems take advantage of the latest G.shdsl technology unfolding unprecedented possibilities for the copper leased lines. They achieve throughputs of 5.7 Mbps (symmetrical) on the distance of a few kilometers - faster and farther than any other modem technology.
Apart from typical G.shdsl modulations it supports TCPAM-32 coding - much more efficient than the standard TCPAM-16, giving higher throughputs and higher reach.
Ease of use
Build-in LCD and keyboard allows easy configuration even without connecting to PC. Telnet, ssh or serial console management may be used for more detailed setup.
Reliability
Stability and reliability is provided by multiple hardware and software watchdogs that monitor system status. Solid metal enclosure and rugged design ensures high mechanical durability and long lifespan.
